Program available for those released from the Pima County Jail and is focused on engaging with those charged with non-violent, non-dangerous misdemeanors who are released from pretrial services with a court date. The program provides justice navigators, who have personal experiences similar to those they are trying to help. The navigators speak with the person to identify any barriers they may face while going through the legal process and offer them the chance to connect with services they might need, such as housing, food, drug rehabilitation, medical care, transportation and more.

Seeks to engage high risk population of ex-offenders to enter the workforce, secure gainful employment and meet the needs of the City of Tucson and Pima County Employers. Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona, Inc. Work Experience Project equips justice-involved adults, ages 18+ with employability skills, work experience, training opportunities, and wrap-around support needed to successfully reenter society and the workforce and overcome existing employment inequities.

Works to ensure young adults involved in the justice system, and/or who left high school prior to graduation, are prepared with the skills needed to meet the needs of local labor markets in order to obtain higher paying jobs. 
Eligibility:
Currently/previously incarcerated
Under supervision (probation/prole, home arrest, etc.)
Under an alternative sentence by the criminal justice system or under a diversion program as an alternative to prosecution
Eligible to work in the United States
Register for Selective Service (male requirement only)
Program Benefits:
Paid work experience and on the job training
Paid incentives and stipends for reaching milestones
Support with needs assistance
Assistance with applying for financial aid
Tuition assistance, where financial aid is not available
Job placement services
Legal services (record expungement, diversion, modifying child support arrears, or obtaining a state driver’s license)
